The Sandra J Wing Healing Therapies Foundation Presents the 7th Annual “Party Palooza” to Help Cancer Patients
Pleasanton, California: The 7th annual “Party Palooza” has begun and benefits the Sandra J. Wing Healing Therapies Foundation. The nonprofit organization will have 11 individual events to raise money to help local cancer patients. Donations go toward providing pain and stress relief to local residents suffering with cancer.
These special events are smaller-scale social events, hosted by Tri-Valley residents and companies, each raising funds to support local cancer patients. All the hosts have generously contributed their time, talent, food and supplies so that all guest reservations and contributions will directly benefit the Sandra J. Wing Healing Therapies Foundation.
Included in this year’s events are some new events, including a Cal Berkeley vs Washington State football game, Tour and Tasting at Working Man Brewery, an Art of Mixology Mad Men Style cocktail party and a Taste of Italy dinner. Some “annual” events are back, including the ALREADY SOLD OUT dinner at Bob and Joyce Shapiro’s home, the 5th Annual Sip and Paint Event, and the longest running Party Palooza Event— The 7th Annual Soups of the World, plus more original and special events.
MAKE YOUR RESERVATION NOW. All events have a limited number of guests and have sold out in the past. Act quickly to avoid disappointment!

“We love seeing such great new events, as well as our regular events that have been so popular,” said founder Sandra J. Wing, a multiple cancer survivor. “Party Palooza has become such a great series of fun and creative events to look forward to, and the donations from this and our other events and donors have helped us provide financial assistance to cover complementary therapies helping over 700 local cancer patients in the Tri-Valley.”
About Sandra J. Wing Healing Therapies Foundation
The Sandra J. Wing Healing Therapies Foundation provides funds so that cancer patients can experience the immediate benefit of complementary therapies to help alleviate the side effects caused by radiation and chemotherapy. These therapies include: guided/visual imagery, acupuncture, acupressure, therapeutic massage and deep breathing meditation. These have been proven to be therapeutically beneficial in many scientific studies, and can provide relief for neuropathy, anxiety, stress, aches, fatigue, nausea and pain.
The Sandra J. Wing Healing Therapies Foundation reaches out to anyone with cancer and is under the care of a physician; is receiving cancer treatment; does not have insurance that will cover the cost of these therapies; and resides in Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin, San Ramon or Danville.
The Sandra J. Wing Healing Therapies Foundation is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization. For more information see www.HealingTherapiesFoundation.org.

Cancer is not a disease that is easily dealt with, treated or even understood. While treatments can vary for every diagnosis, they often include chemotherapy and radiation, both of which are downright uncomfortable, usually with very painful side effects. Increasingly, complementary healing therapies including massage, acupuncture, deep breathing meditation and guided visual imagery are gaining acceptance as proven methods for helping patients find comfort and stay strong to fight the fight during their chemotherapy and radiation treatments. These healing therapies can provide relief for neuropathy, anxiety, stress, aches, fatigue, nausea and pain.
